Don't Keep Me, I'll Perish;; Roseblood Leader Visit;; Open.
Posted by: Jiyu Simul Stamus - 02-26-2019, 12:47 AM - Forum: Tanglewood - No Replies

Flying over long distances was her favorite but considering her last trip had been The Thypoon, this one was not a very far flight at all. To make up for that? Jiyu may have circled the territory a few times in the air as if looking for a good spot to land before finally coming to touch her slender feet upon the border. She had been desperately searching for Sepiroth in all but one flight recently, it was nice to just fly for even a few moments, without the unintended desperation of her own denial.

Looking around she took note of her surroundings briefly before letting out a roar to announce her pressence. Waiting too long to get back with Sepiroth missing? Could be dangerous, especially if he came back and decided he was upset at some random thing. In that instance, he'd just lead the group off to some pointless battle for no reason besides the fact he wanted to reclaim his pride. Sure, she could understand pride, The Roseblood would always be the best of the groups. However, that was no excuse to needlessly waste the life of members nor go around simply slaughtering other's, even her own recent kills were for food purposes. Now that she thought about food, Jiyu realized she had not eaten since before this started. Crap.

Yavania is a play-by-post elemental and fantasy role-playing game with a creative blend of realism to tie it all together. Player-driven plots set the scene for most of the in character drama, and with over 400 characters created, there is always plenty for characters to do. Both our staff and community are active, friendly and welcoming, to players of all writing levels, but we do ask that our players write a minimum of 12 sentences per post. We offer many free-to-create species for players to choose from, including wolves, coyotes, leopards, lions, hyenas, and ponies. Players can earn activity points through role-playing, and special event. They can spend those activity points in-game on their characters on element upgrades, hybrids, feats, and items such as jewelry. Players can also use their activity points to create a character that is not listed on free-to-create list.

ibizan hound — the typhoon
rather closed off and clearly lacking much care for life as a whole he finds most things lackluster, barely able to scrounge up enough interest to leave the secluded mound of rocks he has chosen for his own. striking out and learning more of healing once more he is terse and quite blunt, often brushing others aside for he has no want to be viewed as weak though indeed he is in his current state

dogmeat
albino oriental — snowbound
the anti-grandma she might happily act as a grandmother or parental figure to those who have come to earn her care she is nothing as one may expect, with the mouth of a sailor and not beyond dirty tactics to get what she wants, yet in her age wants nothing more then to settle down. comfortable where she is there is no limit to how far she may wander and what she may teach impressionable youths, she enjoys corrupting their minds and then sending them back to their parents cackling all the while

wondersmith
rabbit hybrid — wanderer
rather cute in a way, a mound of fluff with a seemingly sweet demeanor they prove intelligent to a fault, twisting others and offering lies as easily as they breath, a despicable asshole with a want only to continue their work, hiding beneath the heavy fur the scars of failed experiments, the struggles to make themself something more. broken by countless years of solitude, wandering alone, they simply wish to be the thing caught in their mind, the image they grew over time but have no hope of achieving

there is very little i'm closed to with any of them, if you're unsure please feel free to ask but otherwise i'm more then happy to talk through any ideas and see what comes of it

[glow=black,1,400]I GRIEVE IN STEREO, THE STEREO SOUNDS STRANGE ! — 。+゚.[/glow]
"Have fun."

How did she feel about this? Well...Arrow felt nothing. Not a single emotion crossed her path as Morgan made his speech and walked off, at least looking more alive than he had been, prancing off into the sunset like nothing had ever fucking happened within this span of time. That was it. He was gone and Tanglewood would be passing on leadership to someone else, a good ol' retirement ceremony for everyone to enjoy. She liked Morgan, she looked up to him, she did. She would be sad to see him go, and she was. But over time, over the short lifetime of festering unresolved stress and anger, she was slowly losing a grasp on tangible emotion and was more or less bitter and stagnant by the time this event finally took place.

She wished him the best.

Now onto more important matters, right. She had someone new to keep a leash on. Crow was now her superior, and it would be weird to see. She wasn't jealous or anything, she was no leader. But she'd be damned if she had to endure one more Bossman losing his absolute shit and launching headfirst into a dark depression. But she also liked Crow. Emo dad would be fine.

And that was it. She left. The sun and the flowers were not meant for her.

[align=center][div style="max-width: 420px; line-height:120%; font-family: arial; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; margin-bottom:5px"]There had been a lull within the odd objects wayward waves drew forth and deposited upon the expanse of tan toned sand, in a way similar to the breakdown of the cycle life had made upon the shores, yet within the grasp of the foaming sea another arose. It proved a near impossibility to deem the moment it graced the sands sloping down towards a gentle incline swallowed beneath the slow receding tide, soft the hiss of it as the edge of the wave touched upon the cooling mass of lava reaching out towards, short of the waters that it had once joined with. Yet time wore on and there it sat, half swallowed within the tide as thought it sought to once more reclaim the odd item, a treasure its own never to be shared with the minimal numbers of those still willing to reside upon the scarred island, before time forced it back once more.

Little more then a mound of crimson, unnatural the bright tone clinging to sodden strands of false fur, bulging forth from the oddly shaped head eyes that he could only look back towards, unblinking in their intensity. For a time the child simply cast a wandering gaze upon it from where he had allowed the gangly shape of his alabaster and orange body to sprawl, brief moment of respite after working most of the morning to assist in rebuilding as his body allowed. Time had seen the thing dry some, tufts of its oddly toned fur standing on end but beyond the movement caused by a slight breeze there was no sound or purposeful act, simply left there, watching him as his eyes flicked back to it again.

Light the doze had he settled into when finally it made a sound. A bark parted his jaws in his surprise, angular head swinging around to regard the thing once more, the last notes of its odd voice lingering in his mind. The sound was unlike anything he had heard before, sharp and crackling, static broken by jumbled attempts at words. As though broken its jaw opened and closed in a futile attempt to once more form words revealing the darkness yet nothing more, no throat beyond, arms lifting a slight bit before it fell still again. Limbs stretched forth and slowly Greer pulled himself forward through the wet sand, sinking his paws in before scooting his back paws forward, belly dragging all the while.

Stopping a fair distance away he waited for a time, curiosity fading as the minutes accumulated with no further sign of life. Grown weary of this he made to stand, thinking it might be best to simply bring the odd creature to another who might tell him what it was, when it once more spoke in garbled tones.

“T̶̖̅͗̒̈́ḫ̴͈͆̈́̕a̴̢̟̩̹͐͗͋̎t̶̟̮́̿̔̐͒ ̵̹̜͚̰͇̈̔̑̊̎t̷͖͙̞͈̯̾͂̈́͒í̴̱̠̭̖̈́́͂͆c̴̨̮̬̭̓͊k̶̨̩͎̝̊̍̏l̸̻͙͉͚̰͘e̸̺̗̪̓͒ͅs̷̟̙͈̙͐͐́!̷̖͕͚̿͝” Almost clear though broken apart once more by the lingering notes of static, voice raising and falling until the body began to convulse, twisting and curling into itself, broken laughter arising with harsh notes. For a time Greer simply stood, bewildered at this odd thing and the things it spoke, shock robbing him of the chance to react, merely waiting for something to tear his attention from the creature that had once more fallen still.

[ otherwise known as mars does a stupid thing ]
